Schedule Change: Artomatic Open ‘Til 8pm Tonight and Tomorrow

Artomatic will be open until 8pm tonight and tomorrow, Wednesday June 3 and Thursday June 4, rather than 10pm as scheduled.

Here’s what George Koch, our board chair, wrote in the email announcement:

We want to let you know that we have had to slightly change Artomatic’s event hours for today and tomorrow based on a routine building inspection by D.C.’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA).

As you may guess, securing our building permits to hold Artomatic can be quite a juggling act. DCRA has limited this week’s evening hours to give Artomatic extra time to install required lighting necessary for safety in the unlikely event of an emergency.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to guests + will work to
accommodate artists scheduled for events + shifts during these two days at a later time before the end of Artomatic.

As soon as these additional safety measures are in place, we expect Aromatic’s event hours to resume as scheduled.

Thanks for bearing with us. We’ll be back to regular hours before you know it:

• Fridays and Saturdays, 12 noon – 1 a.m.
• Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays 12 noon – 10 p.m.
• Closed Mondays and Tuesdays
